Dak Prescott is up for the challenge of becoming the best in Dallas.
The Cowboys quarterback aspires to develop this season and beyond to become the greatest signal-caller the franchise has seen.
“I want to be the best I can,” Prescott told reporters at the Cowboys’ Reliant Home Run Derby at Dr Pepper Ballpark, via ESPN. “I want to be the best quarterback that the Cowboys ever had. So when I go in each and every day, it’s just about being the best player I can be. All that stuff comes when you play the game well.”
Prescott has a long way to go if has any hope of being compared to Cowboys greats Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman and Tony Romo, though the Pro Bowl quarterback is off to a good start by winning 22 of his first 32 regular-season starts.
