Philly extends its lead | Eagles 24, Redskins 10

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz evaded a strong pass rush from the Redskins then lobbed his third touchdown pass of the game into the back corner of the end zone to running back Corey Clement on third-and-goal from the nine-yard line.

Eagles’ Peters carted off

Eagles left tackle Jason Peters left the game at the start of the third quarter after a Redskins defensive lineman fell on the outside of Peters’s right knee. Medical staff immobilized the right leg and the highly-regarded tackle was carted off, but not before his teammates and foes came out to wish him well.
