Masters live tracker: Tiger Woods fails to make up ground in third round

After a disappointing 3-over 75 on Friday, Tiger Woods didn’t come close to the leaders on moving day at the Masters. His even-par 72 left him about where he started as the leaders teed off in the afternoon.

Playing alongside Ian Poulter, Woods bogeyed the first two holes but settled down after that. This was his best round this week but not enough to make the climb he wanted. 

Woods was 4-over after three rounds, while Poulter and Phil Mickelson both shot 74 and were 7-over for the tournament. 

At 42 and coming off spinal fusion, Woods was “horrible” with his irons Friday and missed some putts that would have been automatic for the Tiger of old.
