As fourth quarter begins, Cowboys threatening

Already a two-possession game, the Cowboys are again in the red zone. Largely held in check in the first half, the Dallas running game has gashed Washington in the second half, with Alfred Morris already over 80 yards rushing. As the Cowboys keep moving the chains, the clock keeps running and time keeps running out for the Redskins’ postseason hopes.

A quiet third quarter so far

The Redskins have been unable to build on any momentum generated by their touchdown at the end of the first half. Two drives have produced no points thus far, with just over 20 minutes remaining in a game Washington has to have to realistically keep its playoff hopes alive.

Injury update

Morgan Moses remains questionable to return but is not playing on the Redskins’ first drive of the second half. The good news however is that running back Samaje Perine has cleared the concussion protocol.

Meanwhile, Maurice Harris has been ruled out with a concussion.
