TNF outlooks for DeVante Parker and injured Ravens pass-catchers

3:56 PM ET

Injuries begin to stack up when teams hit the halfway point of the season, and the pregame injury report for the Dolphins and the Ravens (well, especially the Ravens) on Thursday serves as proof.

Here’s what we know heading into Thursday evening:

Miami Dolphins

DeVante Parker, WR, ankle: Parker injured his ankle in Week 5 and has yet to return to action. Prior to this week, Parker had not participated in practice to any degree. On Tuesday, he returned to limited work, participating in some drills.

Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen acknowledged the difficulty of trying to assess a player’s health in a short week involving light practices, especially when that player has been absent for a period of time. And, while Parker appears to be making progress, if he were to sit out Thursday’s game, he would have 10 more days of recovery before the Dolphins’ next matchup.

The team does not have a bye week to look forward to, as it was forced to reschedule it to the opening
