4) Brent Burns and Joe Pavelski Love the Hate
The STAPLES Center crowd was not ready to start cheering on the LA Kings arch rivals — not even if San Jose Sharks success meant good news for Drew Doughty and Jeff Carter.
The Sharks duo was booed throughout the entirety of the evening, but that didn’t mean that they couldn’t enjoy it.
Pavelski: Future WWE heel.
Burns lets the crowd know who he plays for…
…or that it’s time for his hourly serving of animal feed.
And then of course he went and did something amazing.
3) Drew Doughty, realist
Drew Doughty doesn’t have the hardest shot on the LA Kings.
He knows that.
We all know that.
But that didn’t stop him from entering in the Hardest Shot Competition.
He somehow won his head-to-head match-up against Nathan MacKinnon. However, he still wasn’t happy. And he made sure everyone knew how unhappy he was with Shea Weber’s weak 102.8 MPH shot.
“My shot’s not that hard, I already knew that going in.”
2) Mike Smith: Sniper
Never. A. Doubt.
