Win … and get fired! Dwane Casey joins the club

The second-best record in the NBA this season — and the East’s top seed — couldn’t save Dwane Casey from getting the pink slip from the Toronto Raptors. Casey, who helmed Canada’s team since the 2011-12 season, owns the Raptors’ franchise record for wins and made the playoffs the past five seasons. Yet, for the third straight year, and despite the No. 1 seed, Toronto couldn’t make it past LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs.
